Coober Pedy

Coober Pedy is a town in northern South Australia, 846 km north of Adelaide on the Stuart Highway. In the 2016 Census, there were 1,762 people in Coober Pedy. Of these, 962 were male and 801 were female. There were 302 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people that made up 17. 1% of the population.
