Escambia County is the westernmost and oldest county in the U. S. state of Florida. As of the United States Census, the population is 315,534. Its county seat and largest city is Pensacola. Escambia County is included in the Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
