Govan is a riverside district with a laid-back village vibe that's home to Glasgow Science Centre, which has hands-on exhibits, a planetarium and an IMAX cinema. The area is also known for its traditional pubs and red sandstone Victorian buildings, and for Rangers football matches at Ibrox Stadium. Govan Old Parish Church holds early Christian carved stones, while nearby, summer ferries cross the River Clyde.
