Huancayo
Huancayo is the capital city of the JunÃn region, in central Peru. It's linked to the Peruvian capital Lima via the trans-Andean Ferrocarril Central Andino, one of the world's highest train routes. Sculptures in the city's Parque de la Identidad Huanca pay homage to the region's pre-Inca culture. The neoclassical Catedral de Huancayo overlooks native plants in the central Plaza de la Constitución.
