Kakegawa

Kakegawa is a city in central Japan. The rebuilt 15th-century Kakegawa Castle has panoramic city views. Nearby, the Kakegawa Stained Glass Museum exhibits Victorian and French stained glass. Tatsuo Shrine is known for its spring plum blossoms. To the south, there are penguins and birds of prey at the Kakegawa Kachouen bird park. The striking Shiseido Art House exhibits modern and contemporary sculpture and painting.
