Kensal Green is a fast-developing residential area known for the cool boutiques and bars lining fashionable Chamberlayne Road. Also on the main street are stylish cafes and gastropubs, plus the indie Lexi Cinema, which screens mainstream films and live opera. Regular guided tours are available of 19th-century Kensal Green Cemetery, where notable graves include that of Anthony Trollope and Wilkie Collins.
