Knokke-Heist

Knokke-Heist

Knokke-Heist is a Belgian coastal municipality bordering the Netherlands. It’s known for its beach and the Zwin Nature Park, an area of salt marshes and mudflats that shelters birds like storks and oystercatchers. On the edge of the Zwin is “Hospitality,” a bronze sculpture of a giant hare. The For Freedom Museum illuminates the area’s history during WWII with dioramas, uniforms and original vehicles. ― Google
