Mahajanga

Mahajanga is a port city on the north coast of Madagascar. The waterfront Corniche is a boulevard backed with palms and street-food stalls that leads to a massive baobab tree. The city's seafront is lined with beaches, including Plage du Grand Pavois, backed by restaurants. Nearby, the Cirque Rouge is a canyon with striking red cliffs. Across Bombetoka Bay, the lighthouse at Katsepy village offers panoramic views.
