Penzing

The western part of residential Penzing, the 14th District, stretches into the Vienna Woods, where hilly forest trails and meadows draw hikers and picnickers. Art nouveau Steinhof Church, a hilltop landmark with a shiny copper dome, was designed by Otto Wagner. The Viennese architect also designed nearby Otto Wagner Hospital. The Technical Museum offers scientific artifacts and kid-friendly demonstrations.
