Pereslavl-Zalessky
Pereslavl-Zalessky is a Russian town on Lake Pleshcheyevo, northwest of Moscow. It's known for green-domed Goritsky Monastery. Within the monastery, Assumption Cathedral has a Baroque iconostasis (wall of icons). Nearby, the Alexander Nevsky Museum displays medieval military artifacts. The Iron Museum showcases vintage flatirons. Berendey's House is a fanciful wooden building that hosts themed fairy tale events.
