Ramhormoz

Ramhormoz is a city in the Central District of Ramhormoz County, Khuzestan province, Iran, and serves as both capital of the county and of the district. In ancient times it had been known as Samangan, having been established by the Sassanid king Hormizd I, although an Elamite tomb has been found as well.
