San Martín de los Andes
San Martín de los Andes is a town in northwest Patagonia, Argentina. It's known as a gateway to the forested Lanín National Park, home to the Lanín Volcano and diverse wildlife including guanacos and pumas. The town lies on the banks of Lake Lácar, one of the park's many glacial lakes, and has a boat pier and a sandy beach. The First Settlers Museum displays exhibits on indigenous tribes and European pioneers.
