State of Acre
Acre is a state in northwestern Brazil, within the Amazon rainforest. It's known for its many rubber and Brazil nut trees. On the Peruvian border in the west, Serra do Divisor National Park features high mountains and several waterfalls, plus many animal species like giant armadillos, tapirs and rare birds. In the southeast is Rio Branco, the state's capital, on the banks of the Acre River.
