Province of Trapani

Trapani is the westernmost province in Sicily, Italy. Along its north coast, Zingaro Nature Reserve features coves, cliffs and wildlife such as birds of prey. Nearby, the prehistoric Grotta Mangiapane is decorated with rock art. Inland, the Castello di Venere includes the ruins of a Norman fortress and offers expansive views. Trapani, the provincial capital, is home to the 17th-century Torre di Ligny watchtower.
