Hérault
Hérault is a department on the Mediterranean coast of southern France. The city of Montpellier is known for its 14th-century cathedral and Musée Fabre art museum. La Grande-Motte and Palavas-les-Flots are seaside resorts towns with fine-sand beaches. Southwest is large Étang de Thau lagoon, with fishing villages and oyster farms. The Canal du Midi leads to the town of Sète, near the Cap d'Agde naturist beach resort.
