Lesser Poland Voivodeship

Lesser Poland Voivodeship is a province in southeastern Poland that's known for its medieval landmarks, wooden churches and mountainous landscape. Kraków, the provincial capital, is home to a medieval-era old town overlooked by Wawel Royal Castle, a sprawling Gothic palace with an art museum. The city's Jewish history is on view in the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, now lined with chic cafes and bars.
