Pag

Pag

Pag is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. It's known for its barren, moonlike landscape, lace production and Pag cheese. Pebble and sand beaches ring the island. The 15th-century Church of St. George was part of Pag town's defensive walls. South of the modern town, Old Town Pag has an archaeological site and the ruins of a Franciscan monastery. To the north, Zrce Beach, in the town of Novalja, is a nightlife hub.
