Vorarlberg
Vorarlberg is a mountainous state in western Austria, bordered by Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, and known for its ski resorts and alpine scenery. The capital, Bregenz, sits on Lake Constance. The city's modern Kunsthaus shows contemporary art, while the Vorarlberg Museum charts the history and culture of the state. A cable car runs up Mt. Pfänder, offering views of the city and a network of hiking trails.
